More Passive aggressive note fun

I really love the whole passive-aggressive notes theme and website that I posted about a few weeks ago. I recently found a Flickr photo stream that has all of the notes from the Passive-Aggressive blog and more. Really funny.

Image Mosaic Generator

Jamie Mosaic Small
The above picture of me, was created using the Image Mosaic Generator. You can upload any image, and it will build a mosaic from flickr images using your image as a base. Pretty cool.

Once your image is complete, a link to download it is placed at the top of the page. Tools like this one really show the power of open platforms. Flickr has no functions like this. It is simply an image post site. But by opening up its API, cool niche applications like this can be built.

Starcraft origami

Starcraft Siege tank origami

I played a lot of Starcraft back in college. It was a fun game, but I was never as obsessed with it as some of my classmates were. A lot of them missed classes, turned in homework late, and just generally spent too much time on it. I even knew a guy who started writing fan fiction based in the Starcraft universe.
It looks like this guy was one of those people who was a little too obsessed with it. Check out the Starcraft origami from this guys flickr pool. Somebody has way too much time on their hands.
