Eccentric and odd clocks

Roger Wood make some of the most intriguing and cool looking clocks I’ve ever seen. He lives in his workshop, an old munitions factory, in downtown Toronto. And creates and sells cool one of a kind clocks through his online store and various shoppes throughout the US and Canada.

I posted pictures of a few of the clocks that are for sale on his website, but there are lots more on the site. I think some of these would fit nicely in my house. Check it out. Klockwerks.com

Watches made from Bone and Wood

Bone watch

Found this amazing image of a pocket watch made entirely of Bone. The only things in the watch that aren’t bone, are the metal springs. Apparently the Bronnikov family from Vjatka, Russia made these watches back in the 1800s. The watches today can command up to $25,000 at auction. Each watch was hand carved and painstakingly put together.

Here is the blog where I found the original story Watchismo
